In Italian American folk practices, saints are at the heart of everything that we do. It's a fine line between religion and spirituality, as these practices, superstitions, healing methods and traditions are older than the Catholic faith itself.

How do we view saints? What is their function and how are they helping guide healers in our community? This isn't anything new.. this has been going on for hundreds of years.
