  • After The Last Tear

What happens after the tears stop falling? What happens when life keeps moving, but the heart is still hurting?

Sometimes we accomplish incredible things while carrying incredible pain. We get the job, earn the degree, build the business, celebrate milestones, and keep showing up—all while dealing with wounds nobody else can see.

In this episode of The Village Church Podcast, Pastor Mario Hauser takes us into the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:9–18.

Hannah experienced years of disappointment, frustration, and heartbreak. But after pouring out her soul before God, something changed. Before her circumstances improved, she got up, ate, and went on her way.

Her story reminds us that just because life is moving forward doesn't mean the heart has caught up.

Healing doesn't always happen overnight, and moving forward doesn't mean pretending the pain never existed. But through faith in Christ, there's hope, peace, and life beyond the tears.

What happened yesterday does not have to determine how we live tomorrow!

  • The Encounter

Have you ever wondered why God seems to work differently in different people's lives?

Two people can sit in the same church service, hear the same message, and walk away having experienced God in completely different ways. One finds encouragement. Another experiences conviction. One receives strength. Another is challenged to surrender.

In this message from 1 Samuel 19:18–24, Pastor Mario Hauser explores what happened when David, Saul's messengers, and Saul himself came to Ramah with different circumstances and intentions.

David needed protection. The messengers came with an assignment. Saul came with an agenda. Yet God was sovereign over them all.

Through this message, you'll discover how God meets people in different circumstances, why an encounter with God isn't limited to a particular location, and why what happens after the encounter matters.

Same place. Same God. Different encounters.

And remember: It's not just about encountering God. It's about how you respond afterward.

    Scriptures: 1 Samuel 19:18–24; Galatians 5:22–23

  • Developed But Not Abandoned

Pastor Leonard Tanks Jr. of Reach City Church joins The Village Church with a powerful message entitled “Developed But Not Abandoned.”

There are seasons when the path God takes us on doesn’t make sense. We may feel stuck, surrounded, or even forgotten—but God can use the journey to develop us for what’s ahead. Through Israel’s journey out of Egypt, Pastor Tanks reminds us that being in a difficult place doesn’t mean God has abandoned you. God is still present. God is still working. And God is still leading.

  • It Still Speaks

From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals that life was required to deal with sin. But what temporary sacrifices could only cover, Jesus permanently cleansed.

In “It Still Speaks,” Pastor Mario Hauser teaches the biblical significance of the blood of Jesus and the finished work of the cross. Your past, shame, failures, and the enemy may try to speak over your life—but they do not get the final word. Jesus’ sacrifice still speaks forgiveness over guilt, cleansing over shame, access over separation, and victory over accusation.

The sacrifice was enough. The payment is complete. The tomb is empty. And what Jesus did then is still working now!
