New figures! As if they apparated out of nowhere, the latest wave of Star Wars The Vintage Collection is finding its way into Target and Walmart stores across the USA. Comprised of Teebo, Lando Calrissian, IG-11, and The Emperor, this newest set represents one of the absolute best offerings to come out of TVC since the line returned in 2018. In this episode, I am joined by Evan (MileHighGround) of SWTVC to discuss the distribution of this wave and review each of its figures.

Army building action figures has been a thing as long as Star Wars has existed, and it goes back much further than that. One of the biggest armies out there belongs to Anthony of The Imperial Communique, and in this episode, Anthony and I discuss the appeal of fleshing out trooper ranks in our collections and how it allows us to use our creativity to collect, display, and showcase The Vintage Collection.

After having previously appeared on Cantina Chatter Podcast in 2017, Angela catches us up on the latest in her ongoing pursuit to make the Tonnika Sisters a reality in the 3.75-inch action figure scale.

In 2018, collectors rejoiced at the return of Star Wars The Vintage Collection, which originally ran from 2010-2013. That first phase was filled with numerous, regular releases across several assortments during those years. The second, current phase of the line is more of a boutique-style endeavor with limited distribution. While some amazing things have happened during the line’s second phase, it has also had its struggles and frustrations that separate it from the line’s original run. In this episode, I am honored to welcome legendary collector Dan Curto to discuss everything TVC is doing right, along with what it’s doing wrong and where we hope things go in the future.

Distribution! It’s the most glamorous topic in all of toy collecting. Why is Star Wars The Vintage Collection so hard to find? Why are online retailers constantly selling out of it? To help me dissect this issue, Evan from SWTVC (the website, podcast, and Instagram page focusing on The Vintage Collection) joins me to discuss all things distribution. We also discuss March Madness, going on now on Instagram and Facebook to determine which figures collectors want to see first in our favorite 3.75” action figure line.
