Voting looked markedly different Tuesday as Virginians cast ballots for president, House and Senate seats, constitutional amendments, and — in some local cities — mayor, city councils and school boards.
More than a million Virginians have already voted in person — and another 650,000 by mail — far outpacing the number of absentee voters in the 2016 presidential election.
