Does the end justify the means when it comes to serving God? In our work with the Cherokee, we have studies and learned much regarding God the Creator. There is much evidence of Divine design. Man's grasp of right and wrong and this knowledge has a Divine origin. In His creation, God did much separating. The Ecclesia has been called out. If you are saved, born-again, you have been separated from the world, the flesh, and the Devil. Adam was placed in the Garden to Dress it and Keep it. Man took of the tree, disobeyed God and died. Jesus himself, in the Garden did battle with the Devil and gave himself to the tree to die and become the sacrifice for mankind.

Where was the Garden of Eden? Through the centuries, people have speculated about its location, but Scripture does not give us every answer. Instead of being consumed with what God has not revealed, we should pay careful attention to what He has revealed.

In this episode of Today’s Biblical Alert, we return to Genesis and God's instructions to Adam in the Garden. Adam was placed in Eden “to dress it and to keep it.” His assignment involved work, stewardship, obedience, and watchfulness. God provided abundantly for Adam, but God also established a clear command and boundary.

That responsibility still carries an important lesson for God's people today. There is work to do, truth to defend, and an enemy against whom we must remain vigilant. Satan is the enemy, and the Christian cannot afford to become careless about the responsibilities God has entrusted to us.

From the divine design of creation to the duties God placed in Adam's hands, this message challenges us to recognize that privilege comes with responsibility. Work, serve, guard what God has entrusted to you, and remain faithful to His Word.

Sometimes we can see the train wreck coming, yet refuse to recognize the danger until the damage is done. Families are broken, lives are devastated, churches are weakened, and a nation can lose its way when warning signs are ignored.

In this challenging message, we return to the opening chapters of Genesis, where Satan subtly entered the Garden and Eve listened, lingered, desired, and finally took. God had placed Adam in the Garden not only to dress it, but to keep it, to guard what God had entrusted to him.

What happens when we fail to guard what God has given us?

The warning reaches far beyond Eden. Have we allowed the hedge to be broken in our homes, our churches, and our nation? Have we become so accustomed to compromise that we no longer recognize the intruder?

As America approaches its 250th anniversary, this message is a sobering call to spiritual vigilance. Our greatest struggle is not merely political or cultural. Scripture reminds us that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood” but against spiritual powers of darkness.

The serpent is still subtle. The battle is still spiritual. And what God has entrusted to us is still worth guarding.

Be Patient: Give Me This Mountain

In a world filled with confusion, discouragement, and constant distractions, believers are called to remain steadfast. Drawing from James 5 and the story of Caleb in Joshua 14, this message challenges Christians to strengthen their hearts, persevere through disappointment, and keep trusting God.

At 85 years old, Caleb could still boldly declare, “Give me this mountain.” Forty years of waiting, the failures of others, and even giants in the land could not destroy his faith. His example reminds us not to become bitter, defeated, or discouraged.

Be patient. Persevere. Strengthen your heart. The coming of the Lord draws near.

A recent trip to the eye doctor provided an unexpected opportunity to hand out copies of John and Romans and talk about America’s upcoming 250th anniversary. It also brought to mind the message of Jude 17–21: remember, build up your faith, pray, and keep yourself in the love of God.
