Kay Diamond from “Keeping kids from having kids” promotes abstinence among children and prevents them from becoming pregnant at an early age. At the same time she collects toys and delivers them to the children of our Mission and also to different organizations in our community.

They take care of children who have been taken in by the state because they have suffered mental or sexual abuse or have been neglected and abandoned by their biological parents. These children are placed in foster care until they can be reunited with their parents, who have to follow rules to be better parents, or until they are adopted into what they call an "ever home." Today “People pay more attention to a homeless dog and cat than to a child”

Lauren Gardere created the Gardere Foundation, founded on her father's legacy to help the community, especially in Haiti. She wrote a book that she distributed for free.

Pastor Stanley Young has been a prison chaplain for the past 20 years; he started out homeless and now comes to the Mission to encourage the residents.
