The Void Show

Let’s answer some of your deepest questions about the mysteries of the Universe.

You know, if aliens exist, it would mean we are not alone in the Universe.

But their inexistence would mean we are alone in the Universe. Either way, both are equally terrifying. I guess it is what Arthur C. Clarke would say.

Our Solary system make home to many other minor Planets called, Asteroids. A

lot of these are found whirling in the Asteroid belt, which is the region between

orbits of Mars and Jupiter. Some swing their way beyond Jupiter. We now know

more than thousands of these space bodies.

While Astronomers are known to only make studies about celestial bodies? They are also

more interested in the Space between them. This, we call, Interstellar space. Enjoy the journey to the deep Space.

Astronomy is interesting because a lot of objects under study are not within our reach. While this statement can raise a lot of hesitation towards the study, we certainly have had numerous missions to the outer Space. Let’s talk Space!

The Perseverance Rover was launched on July 30, 2020, at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. It landed on Jezero Crater, Mars by Feb 18, 2021. Our goal today is to know some important reasons behind the #MARS2020 mission.

The building blocks of everything are atoms. It is our goal to understand their nature.

Physics is both Classical and Quantum. Classical Physics involves studies of Macroscopic objects and very low speeds. Planets, Asteroids, Stars etc. On the other hand, Quantum Physics go deeper and smaller, with speeds approaching the one of light. We speak of particles, atoms and sub-atomic particles. And this is what we’re studying today.

Andrew discusses Hawking radiation, Wormholes and finally, a great story on time travel.

For years, Astronomers and Physicists were reluctant on believing the existance of Black Holes.

It needed be more than mathematical equations on the blackboard to provide a stable confidence on their existance. Listen to the Show to find more about this.
