This episode was recorded back in the summer with some great friends. Over a few drinks, we discussed the authenticity in code switching and apologizing for being right. Enjoy!!!
This was an episode we recorded back in the summer with some great friends. We talk about code switching, authenticity, being unapologetic, and French scissors....it'll make sense once you listen, we hope.
Hey guys, I just felt like popping in for an impromptu episode because I heard something one morning that really forced me to get off my butt and record an episode. Me and my abs will be back in full effect before you know it.
As millennials, we live in an echo chamber; the constant reinforcement of perfect optics on social media and in society as a whole really has some of us messed up. Since there's a first time for everything, I guess now's the time for the first time for this thing. Did that hurt to read too? I thought it might. On this first episode of the Vowels Pod, I give a LITTLE bit of context to the idea behind the pod, the name, and the host. I also talk about how I jumped off a cliff because my friends did. It'll all make sense once you give this a listen. Thanks for tuning in. Ignore the awkward laughs because there's plenty more in store.
