R2-D2 and C-3PO were the first Star Wars characters we met in 1977 and have been an iconic and comedic staple ever since. These bickering best friends ground us in our galaxy far, far away and help to safeguard our story. Devoted and loyal, these two droids are friends to us all, for that and so much more is why we love R2-D2 and C-3PO!
