The Watchers Movie Review

Hey everyone, welcome back to Zach Pope's channel! Today, I'm diving into "The Watchers," a new thriller from producer M. Night Shyamalan, written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan, and based on the novel by A.M. Shine. This film stars Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan, and Olwen Fouere.

"The Watchers" follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist who finds herself stranded in a mysterious forest in western Ireland. As she seeks shelter, she becomes trapped with three strangers, all under the watchful eyes of eerie, unseen creatures While I enjoyed the film, I have to say it's a bit of a mixed bag. The setup is gripping and the performances are strong, especially from Fanning and Campbell. The cinematography by Eli Arenson beautifully captures the haunting forest setting, and Abel Korzeniowski's score adds to the tension.

However, the last 30 minutes left me with some issues that I can't overlook. Without giving away too much, the conclusion feels rushed and some plot elements don't tie together as smoothly as they should.
