Today at The Watering Hole, we're talking about a subject that many people avoid but many Black women have experienced.
Why are Black women often labeled as loud, bossy, aggressive, or "too much"? Where do these stereotypes come from, and what happens when women spend years carrying responsibilities they were never meant to carry alone?
In this episode, I share my thoughts on the strength of Black women, the sacrifices many have made for their families, and the emotional toll that comes from constantly having to be strong. This isn't about attacking anyone—it's about understanding, healing, and having an honest conversation about respect, relationships, and the experiences that shape us.
Let's talk about the difference between being difficult and being forced to survive.
Pull up a chair, grab a drink, and join me at The Watering Hole.
I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Have you experienced this? Do you think Black women are misunderstood?
