The standard of the Lord for us is so amazing. Yet, we sometimes fight battles that we don’t even need to fight. We tend to set our own standards so low and we get to think that we are below what and where we’re supposed to be.

It’s not over yet! Something greater is coming our way because God is a good God.

The story of Gideon tells us how God would sometimes choose what the world thinks is "foolish" to mock what the world think is "wise".

There are seasons in our lives when we feel like we're too irrelevant, too weak. This often leads us to want to give up on the things that we pursue in life. But, remember God's Word and promises - He is constantly working for us and on us.

The Kingdom of God is seeing and knowing, it is experiential – for knowing is deeper than feeling. The devil wants you to focus on the dramatic, when God wants you to focus on the reality because beyond all those pain, there is meaning to life. 

God is waiting on you. You are more powerful and more anointed in unveiling God’s perfect will. What you’re going through is nothing compared to who you really are. The entire cosmos is the object of God’s affection.

The spirit of God will lead you to victory with Jesus.

Once we are born again, the old spirit is gone; we are transformed into a new creation. But despite being born again, why do we still fall to sin? It is because of our mind.

That is why we need to repent. Our minds have been wired to the things of this world, which is why we need to change the way we think. We might fall from time to time, but with the grace of God, we must continue to pursue a righteous and holy life.

If you think you are living in total freedom, think again. Look around you, we are always bound to something.

How free are we really?

The good news is, there is true freedom in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. By design, God gave to Adam, the freedom, the free will to make choices. That is true freedom, that is true love. 

Without a choice, there is no love. That's why God doesn't force you to love him but rather he shows his love for you so you'll choose Him.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1 NIV)

The entire Christian walk is nothing more than a life of perpetual gratitude. Gratitude for what Jesus sacrificed on the cross.

Through the blood of Jesus, it did not only free you from sin, it also reconciled our relationship with God. Jesus became an eternal witness of the payment. As long as the scars are there, you remain forgiven; He is a faithful witness of what He has done.

Nothing that we do for God gains us any spiritual points or merits. When we make sacrifices, we do it because we understand the goodness of God to us. We are who we are because of the payment which is Jesus Christ. 

We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (Romans 3:22-23 NLT)

In the Old Testament, a biblical temple is a place where the presence of God is released and where God and man converge. 

But when Jesus came on earth, He became the temple of God.  

“All right,” Jesus replied. “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” John 2:19

Jesus was talking about His body when the Jewish leaders doubted His God-given authority. Right from the start, Jesus made it clear that the temple of God is for everyone, including the Gentiles.

So when Jesus ascended to heaven, that same spirit that rested upon Him, rested upon us. 

You are the Temple of God.

We've been running after all sorts of blessings, but we’ve forgotten the true source of blessings who is Jesus Christ - The El Shaddai of God. In Hebrew, El Shaddai means God of more than enough.

Blessings are not just money and earthly possessions but also eternal treasure. When God blesses us, he intends for that blessing to stay with us and he doesn’t have intentions of taking away it away from us.

“The Aaronic Blessing” (Numbers 6:24-26):

The Lord bless you

and keep you;

The Lord make his face shine on you

and be gracious to you;

The Lord turn his face toward you

and give you peace.
