We gather, because of the Gospel.

For the Christian, the Gospel literally changes everything; we are who we are because of the Gospel.

Jesus, the Son of God, is the “seed of the woman” who God promised would come to put an end to enmity, bless the nations, and reign victorious forever.

We have earned, and by our own effort, can only earn God’s curse. But Jesus became a curse for us so that by faith, we can receive God’s blessing.

The serpent, Satan, is the originator of sin and death; our battle is a spiritual battle. The enemies we face, whether external or internal can find their origins from the Serpent Satan

Christians, we are able to have a steadfast hope for eternal life; because Jesus turned death, the ultimate tragedy, into the ultimate triumph through the Resurrection.

Jesus is the Eternal Creator of all things; because of the world’s sinfulness, in God’s gracious plan of redemption, Jesus became a human in order to give new life.

In the beginning, God’s sovereignty established mankind’s responsibility to live in right relationship with Him

By God’s design, we were created to live joy-filled lives in a joy-filled world; though corrupted by sin, our joy is restored in our union with Jesus Christ

Only the glorious image of the eternal God restored through our union with His Son, Jesus Christ, is weighty enough to define who I am
