Because prayer is an essential aspect of the Christian life, we need to know there is a right and wrong way to do it

We must look to Christ and model His fight and His faith in prayer as being the best and most practical solution. In praying, we must submit fully to the will of God, no matter the circumstance, and unlike Christ, we are beset with weakness and sin, so we must watch and pray, at all times in perseverance.

Is it possible God can’t hear us because we are not crying out to Him? We can take comfort in knowing our God listens

We must pray for our leaders because they are appointed by God, even if we see them as our enemy as we stand firm on our principles and convictions

We praise our God in prayer because He cares for us and He abundantly answers our prayers

We must pray according to the Lord's character and we must pray in acceptance of the Lord's response

Wrestling with God in prayer will always ultimately bring us to a position of submission

Prayer is a means by which God sovereignly accomplishes His unassailable ends, which is for His glory and our good.
