Welcome back to the second half of Season 5! I stayed busy during my break, and I'd like to tell you a little bit about what I did, as well as you what I didn't do on my week off. One thing I didn't do was gripe about opportunities missed, or point play the "Blame Game". As per British author C.S. Lewis... “you can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending".

We're at the halfway mark of Season 5, things are going great! I haven't had this much fun doing this podcast. However, I think now is a good time to take a one week break to recharge my battery.

Sunday, February 11, 1990 was one for the books. Nelson Mandela was released from prison after 27 years of incarceration in South Africa. On that same day, just a few hours later, my only child, Kenneth Edward Boone II, was born at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Both events changed my life for thr better!

This past Friday, I celebrated my 65th birthday! As I said in my last episode, there was no party and no proclamations of any kind. I did get a few well wishes on social media. It wasn't until my brother posted a mention on Facebook that a few more people jumped on with congratulatory messages. And it just happened to be my best birthday yet.
