Once again, I go back to my 2022 New Year’s Resolution #8, which is to “Attend Church Occasionally”. Well, I can tell you that this past Saturday, I found myself in a church, at a gathering. Not a service, but at a very special 12-Step meeting. It's been over two years since I've seen these wonderful friends!

2022 New Year’s Resolution #6: Watch less cable news and return to watching. After a while, sports watching brought on even more stress than political news. What really drives me nuts is listening to the loud "experts" who love the sound of their collective voices.

In this episode, without naming names I'll identify them, their behavior, and how we should deal with them. Now that I know how to cope, my only regret is not learning how sooner!

Insincerity is the action or practice of pretending to feel something that you do not really feel, or not meaning what you say. It is a sign of weakness, with some of the reasons being narcissism, control, and insecurity. Sincerity, even in error, is a sign of strength.

Fatherhood isn’t for wimps! It took me a minute to learn that for myself. It’s something that challenges me every day, even though my son, my only child, is over 30 years old, lives over 250 miles away in Atlanta, GA, and is a father himself. The worries never end.

He always thanks me for being a great Dad, but I would be remiss if I didn't take this opportunity to give a long-overdue shout out to the man who wrote the manual on how to be a good father.

Our car was recently totaled, with us inside! Physically we were fine. It was the other driver's fault, by his own admission. The police officer on the scene agreed, as did his insurance company. So, the processing of the claim should have been a slam dunk. That was until the humanoids started tinkering with a system that should work flawlessly, which always ends badly. A lot of people have horror stories in their dealings with giant corporations... here's mine!

This is the third week in a row that I’m publishing a new episode of this podcast. If I make it to five weeks in a row, I’ll find an interesting way to celebrate! But until then, let’s keeping moving forward!

Now that I’m working with a decluttered mind and can accept the fact that nobody is perfect, and that excellence is more than good enough, I can take on what I hope is the final roadblock. And that is speaking with my authentic voice!
