The piece takes us through the history of what happened to the southern kingdom of Judah and highlights the work of certain obedient prophets who tried to help the struggling kingdom. Although this time period was one of the darkest in the Old Testament, the record can still remind us of God’s grace, mercy, and faithfulness to His people.

In the September/October issue of The Way Magazine, Liz Echternacht’s article entitled “Resist!
