Throughout this past year and a half, Covid-19 has brought many sad things. But it has also given us perspective. The pandemic was a time to reflect on ourselves, what we have done, who we love, who we hate and who we want to be. Through the traumatic events of the pandemic, I and many others have learned to appreciate the people around me more and become more empathetic to those in different situations.
In this week's episode, I invite Atharv Agrawal, co-host of the Different Boats Same Storm podcast to chat about: Being Grateful, Having Perspective and Making Your Mark on the World.

Inspiration.
A feeling you get that makes you motivated to do something.
We hear talk about inspiration all the time. It's what motivates us to create something. Be it art, business, or relationships, most of the time we are motivated through inspiration to do these things. However, motivation is not a linear function. It varies from highs to lows and can depend on many factors. Even though I love to make music, it doesn't mean that I always feel inspired to create. There are many days when other things take priority in my mind or I just don't feel motivated.
So what can we do to stay inspired?
For me, I try to surround myself around people who I'm inspired by and are also trying to improve and stay motivated. One of these people is this week's guest: Zion Kim. He is a singer, songwriter and producer from Toronto, Canada, who has been releasing music since 2020. Zion released an album earlier this year called "Dichotomy", along with many previous project in the past year.
This week, we chat about: Who our favourite artists are, Who we're inspired by, and How to stay motivated.
