Dig In Questions:

1) Read John 11:43-48. The Jewish leaders knew that Jesus was special, but were afraid of how life might change if they admitted that he was the Son of God. How has your life changed by admitting Jesus is the Son of God? If you haven't yet placed your faith in Christ, is it because you know that he may call you to change some aspects of your life?

2) Read John 14:1. What does “trusting in God” look like for a believer and how can our trust in God affect how we deal with troubling times?

3) On Sunday, we discussed three popular misconceptions that are contrary to Jesus' statement about himself in John 14:6.

- All religions are the same and all paths lead to heaven.

- All good people go to heaven.

- It’s arrogant to believe that one way to heaven is right and all others are wrong.

Either individually or with your small group, pick one of these misconceptions and discuss how what we know about Jesus eliminates that way of thinking.

4) Read the statement about Jesus in Acts 4:12. Do you believe this to be true? How would you explain your faith and this statement to someone who hasn’t yet made a decision about Jesus Christ?

5) What does it mean that Jesus is “truth”? How does this affect how you live your life?

6) On Sunday, we discussed how Jesus is life and “only through him will you have the life you’ve always wanted.” How can following Jesus provide you with this?
