Welcome back to The Wayside Podcast, and Merry Christmas!

In the spirit of the season, Wesley and Ryan begin this episode by exchanging gifts. What could you possibly give to your fellow podcast host? One gift is given in the form of two readings by parishioner David Stockwell, a long-time member of St. Martin's and member of the Parish Choir.

We hope you've enjoyed listening to The Wayside Podcast this year. We're extremely grateful for the opportunity to explore this medium, and we hope you'll join us back in January when we resume after a short break for the holidays.

Welcome back to The Wayside Podcast!

This week is the third and final part of our conversation with Fleming Rutledge on the season of Advent. If you've listened to the last two episodes, Fleming has walked us through the purpose and meaning of Advent, followed by the apocalyptic theology of the season. In this episode, Fleming brings us back to hope in the coming of Christ and concludes with a meditative prayer.

Thanks for listening during Advent! We hope you've enjoyed this three-part series. Tune in next week for our final Advent episode!
