This fun episode of The WCHL Podcast is all over the place - the guys remember Jason Cirone, former ACHA M1 Head Coach at Midland; give props to a Hall of Famer from Springfield; talk about the upcoming Winter World University Games; look at last week's games involving WCHL teams; Andrew predicts this week's WCHL games, and then the fun really kicks in with some talk of website confusion, rink repairs at a venerable rink, soda recommendations, and Red Voodoo! Have a listen, won't you?

Same crappy podcast! The guys take a bit to get rolling, wading through preseason polls, games played up to now and games to be played this upcoming weekend, with some live look-ins! Nationals is over! We have a new M1 Champion in Adrian! Time to put a bow on the 2023-2024 season and that's just what Chris & Andrew do on this final episode of The WCHL Podcast for this season! The guys talk all about Nationals, all the good, the bad & yes even the ugly, whether it be the game results, the new 24 team format, the rink itself, instant replay, trophy presentations, music, and more! Then a slight focus on the upcoming ACHA Annual Meeting with some topics that might be discussed before taking a thumbnail look ahead to the 2024-2025 season with new teams, new conference alignments, and maybe some new opportunities for international play!
Thanks for listening (even those hate listeners out there) and thanks for your support of ACHA Hockey! Take care of yourselves and of your loved ones - and try to relax during this break between seasons - the 2024-25 season will be here before we know it, and yeah, we'll start up the The WCHL Podcast machine all over again - whomp whomp!

Andrew puts on his prediction helmet to tell us all who will win Nationals! Does he stay loyal to the WCHL? Or will he stray from the conference and flirt with another contender? Only one way to find out! The guys also talk WCHL expansion for next season, the return of the ACHA M1 Bracket Contest, twitter snark, live look-ins to Beavers on ice, and more! A truly craptastic episode to finish out the regular season with Andrew on The WCHL Podcast!

The 2023-2024 WCHL season is in the books! The regular season champion decided by the third tiebreaker! Six teams within five points of one another! What a great season! Andrew & Chris talk about the last weekend with UNLV, Utah & Missouri State playing non-conference games while the Arizonas, Oklahomas & Colorados had their rivalry weekend to end the season! And then we find 8 WCHL teams in the Top 25! Six WCHL teams in the Nationals field! No Nats predictions just yet but some good discussion about the field of 24 and the parity, who drew some tough opponents, who will get shellacked! Sending some good juju to a pal in SLC! And a recap of a fun but cold weekend in Bismarck with the MCH! Yeah, just another suboptimal episode of The WCHL Podcast!

Andrew comes to us live from the Garage to talk about teams playing some Old School WCHL Weekends®, three games in three days - the way God intended ACHA hockey to be played! Utah shocks UCO but gets shocked by OU, GCU has themselves a weekend and shocks both OU and UCO, Arizona has some wild adventures in Missouri, and ASU does not have a good time in the Rockies! Meanwhile, UNLV coolly takes care of business in Fort Collins! The race for the WCHL Championship comes down to two games on the last weekend of the regular season - will UCO win out in regulation to force a tie and win the title due to the tiebreaker? Or will the Bronchos drop a point (or more) vs the Sooners to hand the Rebels their first WCHL title? Predictions! Zam drivers gone wild! Security tape! Snowstorms! Bus breakdowns! And a brawl! All that goodness and much more are just a click away, you really should listen!
