The currency is the Self is an episode which talks about the true currency we are exchanging within - our rich inner world and our inner relationship between unconditional love and judgment.

A rich human is made with great riches within.

We live in a world which places, values, and judges us as individuals based largely on our financial status - this episode speaks of a currency far greater - with examples from my own life.

This is the parable of the mermaid and the three eyed goldfish.

A beautiful maiden with a white shimmering tail met with the three eyed goldfish and his shimmering fins for the very first time.

Something about them was the very same - same texture, same shimmering fins, one golden love.

A parable asking why choose a compromised masculine energy, when you choose to align you meet that which is the very same as you - and one golden love.

We're all well aware of the Flat Earth community, a community that believes that the Earth is flat not round.

But what we may be less aware of is the financial world we collectively believe in that is flat;

That is that there is a financial horizon and that we can not travel past it re-inforced and re-inforced by our own fears.

I have the gift (and some would call it a curse) of being able to see how it all ends - that is, what my life looks like in the biggest version of itself.

Day in, day out, I see the big vision.

But day in, day out, that isn't the reality that I live, it's the reality I've had to hold.

As far as the eye can see is an episode about my vision for my little parrot and myself - of a sanctuary of peace where she is safe, in flight, and my duties of care are shared with other safe, stable, trustworthy humans.

It's a vision that's taken me across states in Australia, researching parrot people around the world, to find the structure that suits our relationship.

The concept of the holy grail culturally speaks of an enigmatic quest to achieve spiritual enlightenment or divinity in the form of a chalice.

Maybe you've encountered it via the Hunters and Collectors, or Christian symbolism, or the noble quest undertaken by the Knights of the Roundtable.

It's still significant and not just myth. The holy grail can be considered the quest for ultimate authenticity, ultimate union with what you experience from the outside world, and a love like that, which can often feel so impossible to find it's off the map.

Around this time last year I found myself staying at a Tiny House by Lake George, just outside of Canberra, Australia.

I have a career counsellor who I have been sharing this podcast with. He suggested to do a podcast on the topical topic of the moment - A.I.

I thought, 'why not?'

And the person who has brought the most grounded response to the conversation of A.I. to me is the New Politics Podcasts' David Lewis.

David and I also happen to be in a band together.

David has collected an eclectic mix of professions that suit him perfectly as musicologist, historian, podcaster, and musician.

All of which point to an analysis beyond our current point on our historical axis, of which A.I. is the conversation of the time.

The Collective Male Unconscious is a bit of a new concept so it's going to need a bit of an introduction. This podcast came about because I was personally experiencing a lot of shame, a lot of anxiety, and new fears I had never come across as I came into my own maleness - they were related to masculinity.

I told Mitchy about what I was going through and he said, "yeah, that's the collective male unconscious."

To dream

My dreams - honestly, I want to play stadiums as a musician, and part of the purpose of this podcast is to both motivate myself to take myself on that ride, and for you to come along with me 

To get my girl flying, which was my intention this time last year, and partnership for her. But what this year presented (as one of the most challenging years of my awakened life) was actually what it looked like to become a fortified and complete partner to myself - holding onto my dreams with strength, whilst I reached out to community, and took action

And although not glamorous, this year was about letting go, as vital a part of the process for balance, as envisioning. 

And the infrastructure then manifesting to support that core truth.

What is Season 3 about? Actually, for the first time I honestly don’t know

But I will say that what has been on my heart of late is true love - that is, when the outside experience meets the inside awareness or knowing of the scope, the bigness of the love that you truly are and deserve - or in other terms, when the masculine and feminine parts of ourselves partner with each other internally (and so externally) for good

My songs, my ideas, my films, my podcasts have always taken me well beyond my current reality, imploring me to see higher and beyond my current perspective and challenges. But what happens when our current reality comes to meet us fully and with no exception, exactly as we had originally, deeply, fully intended, and then, maybe, even goes beyond what we expected?

What then? 

Well, you, as well I, are about to find out. 

One thing’s for sure: Season 3 is for certain going to take you on the ride..

Just before Jaxson and I did our podcast on his transition from female to male (Going All In with Jaxson Wearing), I was speaking with his wife Hilary. She mentioned her own big transition as he underwent his transition.

It is a common statistic in trans communities that 95% of relationships break apart when one person in the relationship undergoes transition. Hilary and Jaxson (despite many challenging odds) have become the successful 5% who have transversed, grown, and become more of themselves and each other through the transition.
