We don't want to drain our profits just to get a small deduction. As aspiring wealthy entrepreneurs, we need smarter strategies.

Let's say you have a $10,000 golf membership. If you pay for it personally, you'd have to take out $14,000 from your business to cover the tax and membership costs. However, if your corporation pays for it directly, you save $4,000 in personal tax, reducing your overall expenses. BUT THEN AGAIN… the company should be the beneficiary of that golf membership so the corporation can pay it to save taxes.

Isn't it fantastic when you can save money and still enjoy the benefits?

This episode also tackles income splitting, a powerful strategy for reducing your tax burden. By paying salaries to family members who contribute to your business, you can effectively split income and save a significant amount on taxes.
