Typhoon Vamco after hitting the Philippines killing 40 people has now made a second landfall in Vietnam as a weakened Category 1. A major gale storm is bringing heavy rain, wind, and mountain snow to parts of the British Isles and Scandinavian countries later on Monday and Tuesday of this week. 

Hurricane Iota will make landfall early Monday morning along the Nicaragua and Honduras coastline bringing high winds, flooding rainfall, and storm surge. Elsewhere in the tropics, all is quiet as we head toward the home stretch of the 2020 Hurricane Season.
