Pastor Jason Mayhall teaches Redemption Bible Church about another "Parable of Jesus." Jesus describes the opportunity to join the Kingdom of God as similar to being invited to a wedding, thrown by a king. However in this story, the king's invitees have become consumed by trivial matters in their lives and refused to attend the wedding. They even became hostile when the king sent his servants to check on them. The king decides, instead, to invite everyone out in the public -- an open invitation to a great celebration. We should see our role as being the same as the king's servants; To spread the good word and encourage those around us.
