  • The Book of Genesis #8
It was 13 years ago today that the twin towers of the World Trade Center were brought down by radical Islamic terrorists, killing nearly 3,000 people. Our world was rocked that day and some think it was a harbinger that God allowed so that we, as a country, might wake up and amend our corrupt and godless ways. In fact, church attendance rose dramatically in the weeks that followed, but as things got back to normal, most people slipped back into their irreligious routines.
Can we expect more warnings from God before he executes his judgments on the world? God spoke this to Jeremiah: And I will utter my judgments against them concerning all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands. Jeremiah 1:16 KJ2000 It’s time for America to repent and beg for God’s mercy before His judgments begin crashing down on us. I’m Ronald Dart. Stand by for part 8 of Wes White’s study on the Book of Genesis.

  • The Book of Genesis #7
We’re told in Psalm 119, Blessed are they who keep his testimonies, and who seek him with all their heart. When we diligently seek him, we learn how we can more effectively love him so we’ll want to live more according to his will. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. John 14:23 KJ2000 The things we are learning in Genesis right now are the introductory building blocks on which God’s abode is being built. I’m Ronald Dart…now let’s listen to Wes White in part 7 of his study on the Book of Genesis.

  • The Book of Genesis #6
One might wonder why it’s important for us to know the geneologies of the ancient peoples who lived before and after the flood. But as we study these early chapters of Genesis, it’s important to remember that the entire Bible is the story of a man and his family who ultimately became the nation of Israel and how God worked with that nation. The Book of Genesis sets the stage for what happens throughout the rest of the Bible and it provides the historical account of much of the lineage of Jesus Christ. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 KJ2000 I’m Ronald Dart. Now, let’s listen to part six of Wes White’s study of the Book of Genesis.

  • The Book of Genesis #5
Once Adam and Eve were established in the Garden of Eden, it didn’t take long for Satan to show up on the scene. Satan hated the concept that Adam and Eve were created in the image of God, whereas, he was not. Plus, they would be able to reproduce and multiply in order to populate the earth and eventually, everyone would have the opportunity to be born into the very God Family. Satan set out to do everything in his power to destroy God’s plan for mankind. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.Genesis Genesis 3:15 KJ2000 Satan’s plan has failed. His fate is sealed and his time is running out. With the help of Almighty God and the redemption of Jesus Christ, it’s very comforting to know that we were all born to win. I’m Ronald Dart. Now here is Wes White and part 5 of his study of the Book of Genesis.

  • The Book of Genesis #4
The Book of Genesis is, essentially, an overview of the life and times of the Patriarchs and their offspring who became known as the Israelites. Their story in the book of Genesis spans about 2,500 years in its 50 chapters and is the foundation upon which the rest of the Bible is built. The first chapter, which we’ve been covering, is an introduction to that overview and it covers the first six days of the re-creation. And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 1:31 KJ2000 How pleasing it must have been for God to be able to share His perfect creation with Adam and Eve. I’m Ronald Dart. Now let’s listen to Wes White in part 4 of his study on the Book of Genesis.

  • The Book of Genesis #3
The Book of Genesis tells us a great deal about God and his divine character. Chapter one is much like a specific purpose statement that sets the stage for the rest of the Bible. And God is quick to point out that we are created in his image: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:26–27 KJ2000 If we didn’t have this book, there would be a tremendous void in our understanding of God and what he has planned for mankind. I’m Ronald Dart. Now let’s listen to part three of Wes White’s study in the Book of Genesis.

  • The Book of Genesis #2
There is an indeterminate amount of time between the first and second verse of Genesis 1. Scientists tell us the universe has been around for billions of years, and that is perfectly compatible with what we are told in the Bible. As we read further in the first chapter, it is easier to see why a great deal of controversy and scoffing arises among scientists and Bible scholars. Was everything really created in the six days of Creation Week? Here’s what we are told in the last verse of Genesis 1: And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 1:31 KJ2000 I’m Ronald Dart. Now, let’s listen to Wes White with part two of his study on the Book of Genesis.

  • The Book of Genesis #1
A wise man was once asked, What is the most important verse in the Bible? To which he replied, without hesitation, Genesis 1:1. That verse, of course, is this, In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Why is that verse so important? It is important because every other verse in the Bible depends on that simple statement to be true. Tonight, we are going to begin a study on the Book of Genesis with host Wes White

  • History & Prophecy #8
If we don’t have a good overview of what we’re reading in the Bible, prophecies will undoubtedly seem disjointed. In Isaiah 9:16 we’re told: Those who guide this people mislead them, and those who are guided are led astray. We can take this to mean that it is our responsibility to not be misled, which means it’s incumbent on us to be informed—to be able to discern right from wrong. Consider the chilling statement in Hosea 4:6: My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children. We don’t have to be misinformed or uninformed. As we’ve learned in these studies on History and Prophecy, if you want to know the future, you have to understand the past. I’m Ronald Dart. Now let’s listen to the final chapter of this study on History and Prophecy.

  • History & Prophecy #7
All too often, Bible prophecy is misconstrued or misappropriated. The Apostle Paul told us in 1 Corinthians that prophecies can fail: Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13:8 NIV Prophecies often don’t pan out for two simple reasons. First of all, we need to realize that prophecies are conditional. One need only to look at what happened in Nineveh to know that prophecies aren’t written in stone. And secondly, prophecy is often misinterpreted. Because prophecy is often dual and most of Bible prophecy involved ancient Israel, it behooves us to know as much about Israel’s history as possible in order to determine whether or not a particular prophecy might be applicable to these latter days. Now, Ronald L. Dart with part 7 in this study on History and Prophecy.
