Resham Bansee is a 23 year old young man. He was hurt at birth which affected the movement of his entire right hand side. He was diagnosed celebral palsy at six months old. Resham went to AM Moolla Special needs school and matriculated with a bachelors pass. He was accepted by AFDA Durban to further his education and make his dream a reality. The Buddy Walk is a worldwide awareness campaign that has been taking place in South Africa for many years hosted branches in all provinces affiliated to Down Syndrome South Africa. The concept is to show the wider community that people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities can, and should, be integrated into mainstream society.
