Drawing from John 10, John 6:68, Matthew 16:24-25, and the Priestly Blessing of Numbers 6, Dan explores the Greek concepts of zōē (life) and perissos (abundantly/to the full), and lays out four things the abundant life will require: learning to hear God's voice, faith and trust, courage, and laying down your life. The message closes with a call to receive God's blessing — His name, face, grace, peace, and favor resting upon us — as we're sent out to live and share that abundant life with others.

In this message, Ash Bell traces the story of Isaac in Genesis 26, who reopened the wells his father Abraham had dug and then broke fresh ground of his own — despite conflict, opposition, and loss. From there, Ash walks through the great "wells" of church history — the Reformation's recovery of grace and Scripture, the Anabaptists' reopening of believer's baptism, the Holiness Movement's call to sanctification, the Pentecostal outpouring of the Spirit, and the modern rediscovery of mission — showing a pattern: God never intends His people to merely inherit yesterday's wells. He calls every generation to reopen what's been neglected and dig fresh ones of their own.

But wells run dry — filled in not by God, but by comfort, distraction, busyness, and a casual view of holiness. So what shovel do we pick up? Prayer, Scripture, obedience, worship, repentance, generosity, community, faith — practices nobody else can do for us.

This episode is a challenge to every listener: drink deeply from the wells others dug for you, then leave the next generation something that flows even stronger than what you inherited.
