The Weekly Recess with the Jersey Nerds

This week, we're going rapid-fire through everything that happened in Week 3 before making our picks for the full Week 4 slate!

🎙️ First, we break down Week 3:

🔥 Are the Falcons becoming a legitimate threat in the NFC South?

🦬 The Bills survived FIVE turnovers and still found a way to win—is this finally their year?

🐆 The Panthers came crashing back to Earth against Cleveland—and the injuries are starting to pile up.

🦁 Jahmyr Gibbs continues to prove he's one of the most dangerous weapons in football.

🐆 Trevor Lawrence and Jacksonville exploded against New England while questions continue to surround Drake Maye and the Patriots.

⛏️ Is Brock Purdy playing like an early MVP candidate?

🐻 The Bears dismantled Philadelphia in one of Week 3's biggest surprises.

😬 And which NFL head coaches are already starting to feel the heat?

Can Jacksonville keep rolling? Will the Eagles bounce back? Can Denver hand San Francisco a loss? Are the Raiders actually legit? And does anyone have the guts to take the Chargers as a seven-point underdog in Seattle?!

We're making our picks, debating the spreads, calling our upsets, and probably setting ourselves up to look ridiculous by Sunday night.

WEEK 4 IS HERE. LET'S TALK FOOTBALL.

The Weekly Recess crew is back to break down everything that happened in Week 2 before putting our reputations on the line with our Week 3 predictions!

🎙️ On this week's episode:

🦬 Josh Allen and the Bills make a statement — five total touchdowns from Allen as Buffalo opens its new stadium with a 41–31 win over Detroit.

🐆 Bryce Young keeps rolling as Carolina destroys Atlanta 34–3. Are the Panthers becoming a legitimate threat?

✈️ The Jets let one slip away against Green Bay — and the crew has some serious questions about the coaching and clock management.

🔥 Brock Purdy continues his scorching start while San Francisco makes quick work of Miami.

🐴 Denver survives Jacksonville, but can Bo Nix and the Broncos keep waiting until the fourth quarter to turn it on?

🐅 The Bengals defense is FOR REAL — and Ja'Marr Chase reminds everyone why he's one of the NFL's most dangerous receivers.

⚡ What's wrong with the Chargers? Herbert, the offensive line, the receivers, the defense...there's plenty of blame to go around.

🤠 Dallas bounces back, but a major injury to Jayden Daniels changes the conversation in Washington.

🐏 The Rams dominate New York as another injury puts Jaxson Dart's season in jeopardy.

🏝️ AND OF COURSE…THE ISLAND PICKS ARE BACK!

Can the Patriots steal one in Jacksonville?

Are the Browns really going to upset Carolina?

Can the Chargers finally get things right against Buffalo?

Are the Colts ready to knock off Houston?

Who survives Ravens vs. Cowboys?

Plus, can the Eagles finally unleash Saquon Barkley and let him take over against Chicago?

🏈🔥 THE WEEKLY RECESS — WEEK 2! 🔥🏈

Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season is officially in the books, and The Weekly Recess crew is back to break down everything we learned before making our picks for Week 2!

🎙️ On this week's episode:

🏆 The Bills survive a shootout in Houston as Josh Allen starts his MVP campaign with a statement.

✈️ The Jets open the season with a dominant win — is a 2–0 start actually within reach?

🐻 Caleb Williams and the Bears EXPLODE for 59 points against Carolina.

🐆 Bryce Young shines despite a disastrous day for the Panthers defense.

😬 What happened to the Broncos and Chargers — and how worried should their fans be?

🔥 Trevor Lawrence comes out firing and has the crew reconsidering Jacksonville's ceiling.

🦅 Are the Eagles using Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley the right way?

Then it's time for our WEEK 2 PICKS! 👀

The NFL season is officially underway — and after a chaotic Week 1, the arguments are only getting started.
