The Weird Is The New Black Show

For my 21st episode, I sat with the emcee homie Chris Vance. We rapped about his beginnings, the 30 and Over League, his new single "Legendary" featuring Brooklyn emcee Skyzoo, and how the road to recovery after a crazy injury brought him back to life.

Episode 20 isn't for the weak of heart. Initially, I planned for this to be a podcast about Kung Fu and how it's philosophies and teachings can affect our lives BUT due to the state of the world and the release of Black Panther in theaters (SPOILERS ABOUND!), my good friend Phil and I decided to take another route. We discuss Kung Fu, Black Panther, The Vietnam War, Our respective upbringings, religion, and much more.

For Episode 19, I talk with the homie Reef The Lost Cauze about striving and surviving. Reef is a well known emcee from the city of brotherly love but that’s just a portion of who he really is. We discuss everything from family, fatherhood to everyday fuckery.

This episode features Philly’s own DJ Skeme Richards, music connoisseur, globetrotter and an all around legend. We discuss Philly nightlife, what style really is, Memories of the Tunnel, clubbing in New York, where to find Gucci kicks in the 80s, early days of Philly Hip-Hop ,the importance of rocking the party, and most importantly what makes Skeme the Nostalgia King.

On this episode of the 1984 Fly or Die Podcast, Freakjawn returns and we get into a few interesting topics. We go from sex to the state of Philly's creative scene.

On Episode 16, I sat down with Dr. Timaree Leigh and talked about SEX! We discussed sex, gender, Why is sex a taboo? sexual health, polyamory and a lot more. Check it out and take a listen

Talk about set backs and come ups! I had an episode planned and recorded but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to scrap it but I managed to have another interview with a good friend of mine and to be honest this is better than what I originally had planned. Wesley Carter is a dope photographer who's created amazing visuals. We discuss a bit about his field and A LOT about the current state of the city and then some. Enjoy and Thank you for listening.

DJ Mike Lowry is Philly Night Life mainstay and I'm fortunate to have known him for close to a decade. We discussed his origins as a DJ, Wack DJs, Hip-Hop, Battle Rap, Relationships, and of course adopting dogs because WE LOVE DOGS on the 1984 Fly or Die Podcast

Oh Yeah... March 18 2011... Club Adesso's will live in INFAMY!

On this episode of the 1984 Fly or Die Podcast, I interview the young renaissance woman Svbreen of Soap on the Coach and The Slippery Slope podcasts. We discuss her journey, her podcasts, Philly creatives, and who and what inspires her.

Shout out to Tony Woodcrest for the intro music.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! On this Episode of the 1984 Fly or Die Podcast, I sit with the homie Blair and we discuss tarot reading, mediumship, her beginnings as a psychic and most importantly keeping our spirits alive.
