Having been ransomed by Christ, we now live to serve and obey him as our Lord - no matter our earthly position, recognition or circumstances.

Ephesians 6:1-4 teaches children to obey and honor their parents, while fathers are urged to fulfill their responsibility of disciplining and instructing their children in the Lord.

Jesus restores the brokenness of marriage, re-ordering our relationship as men and women back to God's original design while providing the deeper picture it's ultimately pointing to.

Christians are called to be filled with the Holy Spirit, living wise intentional lives, making the most of every opportunity to honor God and build up the body.

As those rescued from darkness, we must expose and kill the hidden, shameful and ongoing sin of our past & the world around us and instead live openly in the radiating light of Jesus’ truth and love.

In our efforts to live out this changed life of love to others, we must be immersed in God’s adoptive and atoning love for us. His love is the model, motive, and means of our love.

Motivated by our forgiveness in Christ, and empowered by the indwelling Holy Spirit, Christians demonstrate the New Self through redeemed speech, emotions, and actions.

The truth of Jesus has set us free from our old way of life to now live differently through the renewing of our mind.

We grow in spiritual maturity by ministering to one another in truth and love out of our diverse spiritual gifts. 

A changed life that shows the worth of the gospel begins with humbly, gently, and patiently loving one another in order to eagerly preserve the unity Jesus purchased for us.
