Nehemiah 4:1-23 || We have an enemy who fiercely opposes God's gospel restoration in us and through us. Thankfully, Christ is our victor in this spiritual war. With His overcoming power He meets us in our attacks so that we might carry on the good work.

Nehemiah 2:9-3:32 || The people rally behind Nehemiah's God-given vision of restoration and wholeheartedly begin building.

Nehemiah 2:1-8 || In love, God has sovereignly sent Nehemiah to restore those who are broken. Likewise, we have been providentially prepared, placed, and provided for in God's sending of us to those in need of His restoring grace.

Nehemiah 1:1-11 || Upon hearing the broken condition of Jerusalem and its people, Nehemiah is stirred with empathy, moving him to tears and prayer.

James 5:7-11 || Planting well requires patience. In the things we have grand visions for in life we must be willing to both work and wait.

Matthew 28:1-10 || The resurrected Jesus has tasted death for us so that we might die to its curse and be raised with Him to a life of fearless joy.

Matthew 21:1-11 || To find life we must understand the true nature of Jesus' cause so that we can die to ours.

Luke 9:57-62 || Following Jesus requires we lay down our earthly comforts in exchange for the better home and better rest found in Him.

Matthew 16:24-28 || In a beautiful paradox we see that in order to experience the life our souls crave - the life that comes from following Jesus - we must first be willing to die to our control. Life comes through death.

Romans 12:1-2 || Worshiping through difficult seasons is not about understanding God, but trusting Him.
