With the pandemic and everything else going on in the world right now, many are suffering. It has never been more important for us as Christians to take care of ourselves, each other, and those around us.

The chaos and struggle of life is not of God’s making. The sin and systems which exist that harm or keep people in bondage are from man and man’s sin. We have been allowed to continue in life, often immersed in the effects of sin, because permitting the freedom of a man’s soul and right to choose is central to the character of God. He desires that we have both the freedom to choose Him and the life He brings, and that we choose this life. He will not force us into this relationship. But, because of this freedom, we are prone to wander.

Many people in our world today are in pursuit of Justice. So, how do we define justice, and why?

In the continuation of Paul’s direct instruction to Timothy, the apostle appears to address the inevitable pressure of heresy and false teaching that were present in his day and, naturally, in ours as well. Paul affirms that leaders will need to be on guard against those who have corrupt natures and who teach broken doctrine. This will only change when we have been restored fully. Until that time, beware.
