Everything in this world draws its strength, integrity—its very existence—from something else. Everything, that is, except God himself. He truly is independent of all other things. He needs nothing for anything; he depends upon no one and no thing. He is entirely self-sufficient.
Many try to gain heaven through their own efforts. How do we avoid that kind of self-deception in our relationship with God? In this message, Pastor Lutzer provides three explanations for how anyone could be self-deceived. There are many who will be shocked they won't enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Even when we don’t honor our covenant with God, He remains faithful to His covenant with us. Isn’t that good news? God remembers His covenant promises and keeps them, no matter how many times we fail. Coming up next, Ron takes us to the book of Zachariah and to a wonderful reminder that God always honors His commitments.
Remember how frustrating it was when you were in school and the teacher was describing a big concept, but you couldn’t make heads or tails of it? Nobody likes when they can’t understand something. But as he kicks off our series called Not God Enough, Pastor J.D. shows us there are some things about God that we, as humans, aren’t capable of wrapping our minds around. And that’s a good thing!
