No one ever has to go very far out of their way to find temptation. Much like billboards on the side of the road, there are temptations all around you, trying to distract you from your goal. In today’s message, Pastor Jeff will remind you that avoiding temptation in this fallen world is impossible. What you have control over is which voices you allow to speak into your life. If you allow yourself to be filled with the Holy Spirit, He will speak into your heart and help you overcome the enemy’s tricks.
We live in a world that’s always pursuing perfection. But the Bible tells us that this desire is actually built into us. On this episode of Know The Truth, we’re learning what God has planned for those who love Him! In Heaven, God is going to perfect us—body, mind, and spirit!
Sometimes what looks like rebellion or risky behavior in teens is really just a signal flare for something deeper going on inside. On today’s episode, Mark sits down with two Heartlight residents, each with a different story but a similar struggle: trying to fill the emptiness and pain in their lives by acting out. Whether it’s substance use, running away or searching for connection in all the wrong places, they share how unresolved hurt and family disconnect fueled their choices — until a crisis forced them to face what was really going on.

So much of life is a study of cause and effect. We wonder why we get so many speeding tickets. Hmm . . . could it be that we drive too fast? Or wonder why it’s so hard to get up in the morning. Maybe it’s linked to how easy it is to stay up late the night before. Today on A NEW BEGINNING, Pastor Greg Laurie helps us study cause and effect as it relates to success in the Christian life. Jesus paid the price for our salvation, but we’ll see maturity and spiritual growth are up to us.
