  • Running to Win - 25 Minute Edition - He Owns Our Reputations – Part 1 of 2

In this message from Acts 5, Pastor Lutzer shares three negative laws of stewardship from their bad example. What would change in our lives if God were in charge of our reputations?

  • God Centered Life - 20/20 Vision: Fellowship, Part 1

Have you ever considered the relationship between the way church members get along and their alignment with what that church hears from the pulpit? Can a church body that disagrees on doctrine still have real Biblical fellowship? We’ll explore these challenging questions in this study.

  • Encounter the Truth - The Sign of the Covenant (Part 1 of 2)

Despite the failure and sin of Abram in the previous chapter, the Lord reaffirms his commitment to give him a land and a people—and he seals that covenantal commitment with the sign of circumcision. He makes it clear to us that his grace and forbearance do not remove the requirement of obedience, but actually reinforce it.

  • Hardwired with Jeff Wickwire - 01.11.2026 - 07 - Wisdom Brings Strength Part 1 By Pastor Jeff Wickwire

When you go to the gym, it’s easy to pick up a small weight and exercise without giving your body any challenge. You won’t feel fatigued at the end of your workout, but you also won’t gain as many of the benefits of the exercise. But when you push yourself to lift a heavier load, your strength will increase as your body adapts to the new weight. Pastor Jeff teaches you today that listening to wise counsel is how you challenge your heart, to make it grow stronger and wiser, instead of opting for easy exercises.

  • Greg Laurie: A New Beginning - When Temptation Comes Knocking | Sunday Message

We can expect to face temptation in the Christian life. But in this encouraging episode, Pastor Greg Laurie not only reminds us victory is possible—but shows us exactly how to obtain it. Today, we look to Jesus as our inspiration for overcoming temptation.

    Notes

    We belong to God

1 Cor 6:19–20 — “You are not your own, for you were bought with a price.”

    Temptation/testing can produce good

James 1:12 — “God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation.”

    When does temptation often come?

Frequently after great spiritual blessing (e.g., after Jesus’ baptism → wilderness temptation).

    Where does temptation come from?

We play a key role in our own temptation. Where there is no desire on our part, there is no temptation.

    James 1:14–15 (NKJV)

Temptation always starts in the realm of your mind.

    1. Best place to be when temptation comes? In the will of God.
    2. Primary weapon against temptation? The Word of God.

    Jesus’ 3 Temptations -- Luke 4
