If you want to see a living portrait of faith, look no further than Joseph. We’ve all been let down or disappointed before. Plans we made got changed, someone canceled on us at the last minute, and maybe there were a few hard feelings. The next time that happens, let’s take a lesson from Joseph, step out in faith, and let God do what He does best. Joseph’s story comes your way next, as Ron moves ahead in his series, “The Art of Christmas.”
The Bible is the textbook of theology. Yes. But… the Bible also speaks to the single person who has desires, or the married person who has desires. Very practical discussions included in this study from the book of Hosea.
Hosea 1
If the truth leads us down a totally different path, we should follow it. The Magi followed the star, willing to reject their own religion, to worship the Christ Child. In this message, Pastor Lutzer highlights four barriers they overcame to worship Jesus. Will we honestly seek the King as they did?
Moody Church Media [https://www.moodymedia.org/], home of "Running To Win," exists to bring glory to God through the transformation of lives.

After long years of judgment in exile, God proclaims comfort for his people. He will bring them into the land of promise, he will lift their judgment, and he himself will come to them as a gentle shepherd gathering his flock. In the incarnation, God has come to his people in the Person of his Son—the one who calls himself the good shepherd and who lays his life down for the sheep.

The promise of a Savior that wouldn’t arrive for 700 years might not have been a great comfort to the army that received the prophecy, but God knew what they needed, and what we need today, is a Messiah who would save us from our sin. Today, Pastor J.D. is unpacking the promise of Isaiah 9 from the series “Hope Has a Name” and showing us how we should approach the Wonderful Counselor, who brings light to our darkness and gives us the gift of himself.
