No matter how high we build our walls, or how deep we dig our shelters, trouble eventually comes to us all. So the question isn’t whether or not you’ll be faced with crises—the question is how do you survive them? Pastor John Munro discusses how to endure the storms of life.
Following God requires you to be patient. It’s so easy to want to be in the right place right now and to try to rush God’s plans for your life. But Pastor Jeff teaches you today that there is value in the moment you are in. Life isn’t just about the destination; it’s also about the journey you take on your way to that destination. God can work in you in those moments of waiting, so that you can be better prepared to receive the blessing that is coming. But all of this requires you to be patient and to wait on the Lord.
On this episode of Know The Truth, Philip De Courcy tackles the subject of delayed adolescence. Studies reveal that many young men are in crisis today. So, Philip’s offering biblical solutions from the book of Titus!
Listen in as Mark Gregston and Wayne Shepherd discuss why teens might “spin out of control." They explain this can happen when they can’t manage life within the boundaries of home, which can lead to disrespect, dishonesty, risky behavior or shutting down emotionally. Mark explains that these patterns are often a cry for help, revealing deeper struggles teens can’t navigate alone. Parents are encouraged to recognize early warning signs, adjust home structure with clear expectations and seek outside support when needed. Above all, teens don’t actually want their lives to fall apart — they need intervention, guidance and a restored relationship with their parents.

Even in the Lord’s Prayer, we say the words “forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.” Thomas Fuller once wrote, “He that cannot forgive others breaks the bridge over which he must pass himself; for every man has need to be forgiven.” Today, on A NEW BEGINNING, Pastor Greg Laurie takes us to the life of Joseph, an outstanding biblical example of forgiveness and what fruit can come of that selfless action. We’re studying the Bible’s great heroes.
