This past Sunday, Pastor Chris Millar began our new series, In This Economy, with Jesus’ parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18. We were reminded that while the world tells us to get what we deserve, God invites us into an economy of mercy. We have been forgiven a debt we could never repay, and that mercy frees us to extend mercy to others.

This past Sunday, Pastor Chris Millar continued our Abide series from John 15:18–27, reminding us that our relationship with Jesus defines our relationship with the world. While we are called to stand firm in truth, Jesus also calls us to love people and bear witness to Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. As we abide in Jesus, we are equipped to live faithfully in the world and point others to the Savior.

This past Sunday, Pastor Chris Millar continued our series in John 15 and helped us see what it means that Jesus calls us His friends. Jesus shows us a different kind of friendship, one marked by sacrifice, vulnerability, and pursuit. He laid down His life for us, revealed Himself to us, and chose us, and now He calls us to love others in the same way. When we abide in Jesus, He changes the way we love and helps us become the kind of friends He has called us to be.

This past Sunday, Pastor Trey Etter continued our Abide series from John 15:9–11 and reminded us that Jesus invites us to experience the same love the Father has for Him. As we abide in Christ, His love transforms our hearts, and our obedience becomes a joyful response to His grace instead of an attempt to earn it. God invites us to remain close to Him so we can experience the lasting joy that comes from His presence.

This past Sunday, Chris Millar taught from John 15, reminding us that Jesus is the true vine and that lasting fruit comes from abiding in Him. We cannot produce spiritual fruit through our own strength; it is only through staying connected to Jesus that He transforms our lives and brings glory to the Father.

This past Sunday, Mitch Tidwell taught from Galatians 6:6–10, reminding us that we reap what we sow. As we sow seeds in the Spirit through our thoughts, actions, and obedience to God, He produces lasting fruit in our lives. Paul encourages us not to grow weary in doing good, trusting that God will bring a harvest in His perfect timing.

This past Sunday, Pastor Mark Strong taught from the Parable of the Sower in Mark 4, reminding us that the condition of our hearts matters. Like soil receiving a seed, our hearts must be ready for God’s Word to take deep root and produce a harvest. As we follow Jesus, He grows Christlike character in us and gives us a heart to help others follow Him. God desires to cultivate good soil in our lives—one that bears lasting fruit and points others to Jesus.

This past Sunday, Pastor Ken Abramson reminded us that walking with Jesus transforms the way we live. Looking at Psalm 23 and Lamentations 3, we were encouraged that God's steadfast love never ceases, His mercies are new every morning, and His presence gives us hope in every season. As we walk closely with Jesus, He restores our souls, leads us faithfully, and transforms us into people who help others walk with Him.

This past Sunday, Pastor Chris Millar taught the final S in the BLESS series, Share Your Story, reminding us that when the good news of Jesus becomes the best news in our lives, we will share it with others. Looking at Jesus’ encounter with the woman at the well in John 4, we saw how one person’s encounter with Jesus led many others to believe. Like the woman who went and told her town about Jesus, we are invited to share the best news with those God has placed around us.

This past Sunday, Pastor Aaron Sanders taught the first S in the BLESS series, Service, reminding us that service is sacrificial love for the glory of God and the good of others. From Galatians 6:2–5, we were reminded of the difference between burdens that are too heavy to carry alone and the personal responsibilities each of us are called to carry. Like the friends who brought the paralytic to Jesus, we are invited to lovingly step into the burdens of others, willing to be inconvenienced for their good, while still honoring the responsibility God has given each person.
