This episode I wanted to share with you my personal top 5 wellness habits that I have found the most effective both in my own life, as well as with clients over the last 30 plus years.
Too often people over complicate health and wellness, but the biggest improvements come from the small easy consistent changes you make to your life.
Here I go through the most important hacks in each area:
* Sleep - Be sure to get to sleep 1 or 2 hours before midnight - this helps to reset your circadian rhythm in line with nature.
* Protein - Be sure to choose protein as the first thing in your meal so you get enough - hunger is determined by protein levels. If you don’t get enough you will stay hungry and end up eating the wrong foods.
* Easy Exercise - Find an enjoyable movement and activity that you can easily do every day - walking, gentle mobilization, yoga any easy movement daily.
* Breathing - Take 5 - 10 minutes every morning to do Deep Diaphragm Breathing into your belly - get to know your breath.
* Mind - Start to nurture your Inner Carer within your thoughts - create a balance so your Inner Critic is not dominating your thoughts.
