Welcome to the FIRST EVER episode of Her Story • Her Effect! 🌸
And I couldn’t think of a better woman to kick off this series with than Diana, the woman behind E&S Weddings. 💍
Diana is a mom, wife, teacher, businesswoman, and wedding officiant but in this episode, we go beyond the titles and get to know her.
We talk about who Diana was before E&S Weddings, how she found her way into becoming a wedding officiant, what it has really been like building her own business, and the lessons she’s learned along the way.
This conversation is a reminder that sometimes you don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. You just have to be willing to take that first step and see where it takes you. 💕

And this is only the beginning. Welcome to Her Story • Her Effect, where we’re giving women the space to share their stories, their journeys, and the effect they’re leaving behind. 🌸
Because every woman has a story and every story has an effect. 💗
Your story is part of your brand and you don’t need a business, a title, or thousands of followers to have one.
In Episode 10, I’m talking about how your story, your values, and the way you show up all become part of the impact you leave on others.
I’m also introducing something very special to The Wendy Effect: Her Story, Her Effect—a series created to give women a space to share their stories, their journeys, and the effect they hope to leave on other women.
As you listen, I want you to ask yourself:
✨ What do I want to be known for?
✨ What parts of my story have shaped who I am today?
✨ What effect do I want to leave on other people?
You don’t have to have everything figured out. Your story is still being written but that doesn’t mean it isn’t already making an impact.
Your story matters. Your voice matters. Your effect matters. 🤍

In this episode, we’re talking about finding yourself again through three simple steps:
✨ 1. Get curious about YOU
✨ 2. Make it small & make space
✨ 3. Take action before you feel ready
The Wendy Effect Journal Prompts:
💕 What part of myself have I been neglecting?
💕 What have I wanted to do but keep putting off?
💕 What is ONE action I can take this week?
You don't have to find yourself all at once. Just start choosing yourself again.
Keep showing up. Keep growing. Keep choosing yourself too. 💕

Episode 7: I Thought I Was Past This
When Self-Doubt Returns After You’ve Made Progress
What happens when you’ve been growing, building confidence, and suddenly self-doubt comes back?
In this episode of The Wendy Effect, I share a recent experience that made me question myself and the reminder I needed: self-doubt returning doesn’t mean you’re going backward. Sometimes it means you’re being challenged to grow.
🌻 5-Step Self-Doubt Reset📓 Growth Journal
Pause — What actually happened vs. what story am I telling myself?
Find the trigger — What brought the doubt back?
Look for evidence — What have I already overcome?
Learn from it — What can this moment teach me?
Take one step anyway — Keep moving, even with doubt.
Where has self-doubt resurfaced in my life?
Is it protecting me or holding me back?
Write down 3 times you doubted yourself but still moved forward. Those moments are your evidence.

Self-doubt doesn’t erase your progress. You’re not starting over.
What if motivation isn’t the thing you’re missing?
In this episode, I talk about why waiting to feel motivated, confident, or ready can keep us stuck—and why sometimes the action has to come first. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to feel fearless. Sometimes you just have to start anyway.
✨ Growth Journal Prompts:
• What have I been waiting to feel motivated enough to do?
• What is one small step I can take today—even if I don’t feel ready?
You don’t need another Monday. Start as the woman you are right now. 🤍
Episode 5: Self-Compassion Part 2 – The Woman Who Stops Being Her Own Enemy
Dear Beautiful,
If you've been your own biggest critic lately, this episode is for you.
Today we're talking about self-compassion, learning to quiet your inner critic, and choosing kindness over perfection. Together, we'll explore how changing the way you speak to yourself can change the way you show up in your life.
Remember, the woman you're becoming doesn't need another critic—she needs an ally.
✨ Growth Journal Prompt
What's one thing you've been saying to yourself that you would never say to someone you love?
Rewrite it with compassion, then read those new words back to yourself.
With love,
Wendy
This isn't just another episode - it's a daily reminder of who you are.
Press play each morning and allow these affirmations to replace self-doubt with confidence, fear with courage, and criticism with compassion. Let these words become part of your daily routine until you no longer just hear them - you believe them.
Save this episode. Keep it on daily repeat. The more you speak life over yourself, the more you become the woman you were always meant to be.
You are worthy. You are enough. You are becoming.
In this episode, I share one of the biggest lessons I've learned recently: self-compassion. After going through emergency surgery, I realized how difficult it was for me to slow down, rest, and give myself permission to heal without feeling guilty. That experience made me recognize that I was so good at showing kindness and grace to everyone else, yet I had forgotten to offer those same things to myself.
I talk about why so many women tie their worth to productivity, carry unrealistic expectations, and constantly battle their inner critic. I also share how learning to replace self-judgment with self-compassion can help us heal, become more resilient, and move through life's challenges with greater confidence and grace.
My hope is that this episode reminds you that you don't have to earn rest, love, or compassion. You deserve those things exactly as you are, and sometimes the greatest act of growth is simply learning to be kinder to yourself.
