In this episode of The Wes Talbert Show entitled Memphis Hoodoo Magick (Part 1), our host Wes Talbert speaks with special guest Tony Kail, author of A Secret History of Memphis Hoodoo and A Cop’s Guide to Occult Investigations. Within part one of this two-part episode, Tony takes us on a walk through the beginnings of Hoodoo, explains how it differs from Voodoo, and the unique connection Hoodoo has to Memphis and the Mid-South. He talks of common magickal rituals, gris-gris & mojo bags, the magick of conjurers, root workers, and spiritualists. With Tony’s unique background as a cultural anthropologist, he takes a thoughtful and respectful approach to discussing the history of Memphis Hoodoo with us on the show.

In the third episode of The Wes Talbert Show entitled Outwork Everybody, our host Wes Talbert speaks with special guest Kevin Klug, founder and CEO of Klug Fitness. Kevin has toured as the personal trainer for superstars Lady Antebellum (2014-2015) and Sam Hunt (2016-2017). He along with his twin brother, Karl Klug, have been elite athletes since they were young. Kevin says that “fitness is the best investment” and that you must “outwork everybody” to succeed in every facet of life. His story of entrepreneurship is inspiring and his personality entertaining. It was a joy to have him on the show.

In the second episode of The Wes Talbert Show entitled Homeless in Hawaii, our host Wes Talbert speaks with special guest Joe Kernan about his interesting life as a soldier, teacher, and lawyer. He shares with us the four-year struggle in which he lived homeless in Hawaii, the path that led him there (alcohol and DXM – dextromethorphan), and how he rose above it all to become a successful entrepreneur in the digital age. Joe’s story is one of triumph. It is an episode you most certainly do not want to miss!
