The West Ham Way

This season was supposed to be the one where we saw the true talent of Tim Steidten since his arrival at West Ham, however thus far its been pretty underwhelming

It's now reported that Arsenal eye Steidten as Edu's replacement. However, is that bad news for West Ham? Or a blessing in disguise?

The future of Julen Lopetegui is looking bleak, with the club already making the Everton game this weekend a must-win for the under-fire Head Coach

There are already clear frontrunners to replace the former Wolves boss, with Graham Potter down as one who will likely take the role in east London

The victory over Manchester United last week needs to be built on as West Ham look to start climbing the table after a slow start to the season

Nottingham Forest though are in good form and will be confident in getting a result, which would no doubt raise the pressure on Julen Lopetegui

LLDC no longer running the London Stadium means that the club have an opportunity to secure the long term lease of the stadium

Which will enable (like Man City) the club to run its as we see fit, gain further revenue, naming rights, sponsorships and other events, in what could be a huge move for West Ham that also works for all parties

Lucasz Fabianski coming into the side against Manchester United gave a clear indication on whether Julen Lopetegui rates Areola

The club needs to prioritise bringing in a top goalkeeper who can be the clubs number one for that position for seasons to come

It was far from a perfect display in east London on Sunday, but the win over Manchester United was a big one and one that has seen Erik ten Haag get sacked by the Red Devils

West Ham produced a spirited performance and one that many will hope can be a springboard to kick on this season. Lopetegui will be a relieved man, and one that's still in a job!

There will not have been many fans who would have predicted such a fall from the optimism and excitement at the club just a few months ago, for it to now be an all out war between Tim Steidten & Julen Lopetegui

The pair are both under the spotlight and the undermining from Steidten to Lopetegui's position, has lead the Head Coach to demand a new striker in the wake of the disaster that is Niclas Fullkrug
