We start our new series on prayer where we will engage on the questions of why we should pray and does prayer actually help? Prayer for many people is associated with guilt because we believe we don't do it well and/or don't do it enough. This series will hopefully encourage people to pray more because God just wants us to start praying and asking for help.  

David finishes off our series, "the Cost of Privilege" preaching from Acts 16:16-40.  David discusses how Paul and Silas use their privilege to further the Kingdom by dismantling oppressive and corrupt systems rather than using it for their own interests.   

Tyson continues our series on the cost of privilege.  Tyson speaks on the story of Zacchaeus and how Zacchaeus is a model for transformation from the mindset of scarcity to a mindset of abundance in which the Kingdom provides.  We often seek wealth and power because it we believe there is not enough resources to go around. The Kingdom of God however, there is more than enough and we can share it, especially with those who have very little.   

David continues our series discussing privilege and what it looks like to be Jesus centred while in pursuit of justice. David delves into the story of Exodus 2:1-10 where Pharaoh’s daughter becomes a model for us regarding how one responsibly stewards privilege for the furtherance of the kingdom and the good of neighbor. What starts as compassion grows into conviction and matures into a rigorous commitment to justice.
