This is the first of our new monthly podcasts, just a quick review of some of the things that’s been happening this month with a bit of info about what were doing at What.

Stevie Agnew on The What Podcast
Earlier in the month we had local legend singer/songwriter Stevie Agnew in, promoting his fundraising gig at Panas Restaurant, well done to Stevie and everyone involved who raised £8000 from the event.
We are planning on having Stevie back in later in August to update us with his trip to Bangladesh, so he can share some photos and tell us how the money raised is helping with the building of the orphanage there. Stay tuned for that!
What’s Mascot Mattius
Mattius has been busy recently, he joined Facebook and has started making lots of new friends, so we can help share more great things from What such as businesses, offers, products and more. If you haven’t seen him yet why not add him as a friend on Facebook here.
This months comic sketch sees Mattius meeting his long lost cousin and even gets a wee mention for another local business too.
This month 10 years ago…
Just for a giggle, we like to have a look at what was happening 10 years ago this month, do you remember some of these.
What’s happening at What?
Just to let you know our platform will have a little downtime on Friday 29th July, this is because we are scheduling some maintenance while we change our servers to help improve speed and performance.
After this we have a new member joining our IT team as lead developer and he will be busy making a lot of improvements to the platform and we will soon be merging www.what.live and www.whatoffers.co.uk together.
I will be speaking with all our What Pro Partners soon, to make sure we can bring you any info and updates on what they are doing, getting great offers for our listeners and visitors, so stay tuned, perhaps some of them might even join us in “The What Podcast” to tell you a bit more about their local business and why you should try and support them.
