Episode 15. To prepare for The Odyssey, we watched Interstellar, another Christopher Nolan movie about a dad on a long journey to get back home. We discuss corn, robots, how do dust storms work, Topher Grace jump scares, and why they didn't go to the bikini babe planet. We promise this is a serious discussion sometimes. We also talk about the final season of The Bear, which felt good and had all our friends in it, but not a single Star Wars force ghost. Further topics include: men who are only a few years younger than us but we'll call them "the boy" forever, how good it must feel to be the DVD logo that hits the corner of the screen just right, what if Phineas & Ferb solved all your movie's problems and then there was no movie, and briefly slowing down an F1 race because an umbrella blew onto the track.

Episode 11. Our main course today is reviewing the graphic novel Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow by Tom King and Bilquis Evely, an inspiration for the upcoming Supergirl movie. We discuss Beef S2, Mother Mary, our first look at Clayface, the Gwar-b-q, the robot butler from Wall Street, and how we've seen plenty of comics about elderly superheroes but no regular old people who suddenly have to deal with getting superpowers when they're too old to fight crime.

We interpret the movie news from CinemaCon: wet guy isn't wet anymore in Doomsday, John Goodman plays the president in Digger, Street Fighter is a big dumb living cartoon, and if Marvel declares a theater is good enough to be "Infinity Vision" then they'd better give all the employees a commemorative hat.

Secret Service agent Xavier Collins is trying to solve the murder of the President -- a crime that poses even more danger when all of America has been reduced to a community of 25,000 living in a bunker city deep below the Rocky Mountains. We discuss questions about how the bunker works, the genuine surprise behind the killer's identity, flashback episodes that remind us of Lost, Wii sports, and the irrepressible human instinct to chant any countdown out loud.
