We go all over seedy LA with discussion on Crime 101, Nightcrawler, and Hacks. Episode 7. We watched season one of the Hulu mystery series Paradise, to coincide with the release of season two! Secret Service agent Xavier Collins is trying to solve the murder of the President -- a crime that poses even more danger when all of America has been reduced to a community of 25,000 living in a bunker city deep below the Rocky Mountains. We discuss questions about how the bunker works, the genuine surprise behind the killer's identity, flashback episodes that remind us of Lost, Wii sports, and the irrepressible human instinct to chant any countdown out loud.

Episode 6. It's the week after the Oscars, time to rank all Best Picture nominated movies on if they had more legs or more wheels! Melissa recaps the awards and her own performance in her movie fantasy league. Kyle recaps a terrible week involving a room full of loose computer parts. We discuss the leg scene in The Secret Agent, Ryan Gosling's high clown art in Project Hail Mary, recording your own "thanks for coming to the theater" message like movie stars do to play before a new blockbuster, and making a TCM-style intro video for all your favorite movies where you walk into a living room nobody lives in and read us facts for 3 minutes. To translate our F1 coverage for those who don't watch the sport: our new hero is a teenager, the orange cars aren't as fast as they used to be, and the red cars are MUCH faster than they used to be. We recorded this on St. Patrick's Day, but we don't really know who St. Patrick was, so instead we're celebrating Patrick Wilson 🙏

This is the rules, the teams, the drivers, the curses and miracle stories, where you can actually watch the sport and what parts you don't really have to pay attention to! We discuss the new regulations shaking up the game this year, which team seems chill enough to actually hang out with, how the drivers' car seats are molded to their individual butts, the Racing Bulls photoshoot that makes them look like an early 2000s pop punk band, and fun facts about The Netherlands. We also demand to know which Gen Z stars have seen Good Burger and which haven't, and offer Marvel MANY options for how they can cast Wayne Knight in their next movie.
