A beginning is upon us: the beginning of our deep dive coverage of The Wheel of Time! In this episode, our WOT Rookies Dave & Paul join WOT Veterans Kyle & Luke to break down Episode 1 of Amazons The Wheel of Time, “Leavetaking”. Episode 1 introduced us to the concepts of The Dragon Reborn & Aes Sedai, brought us to the Two Rivers to drink and dance, and gave us a battle sequence that left us wondering how in world this is only the first episode. There was a whole lot going on in this episode, and we’re super excited to break it all down.

Our coverage can be enjoyed by both series veterans and rookies alike, as we’ll focus heavily on the show’s events and only use our book knowledge to provide background information, answer what questions we can, and allow for some interesting comparisons between the mediums.

BingetownTV took part in Amazon’s Official Wheel of Time Press Junket! Our own Wheel of Time Subject matter expert, Kyle, was lucky enough talk with 4 of the Wheel of Times main cast members… Josha Stradowski, Marcus Rutherford, Madeleine Madden, & Zoe Robbins! Amazon was kind enough to provide us with the entire junket with all questions that were asked to the actors. Each media outlet was allowed one question each, leaving us with a nice 20 minutes of content to drop for you all. Our podcast has been waiting for this show for so long and we cannot wait to cover it on the podcast and we are super appreciative that we had the opportunity to speak with this amazing cast. This interview drop is our first wheel of time surprise, but it is definitely not going to be our last. So stay tuned.
