To start off the second hour of The Wheelhouse the guys discuss the Astros ninth inning win against the Yankees and talk about the match up for the second game in the double header. Next the guys talk about some teams in the NFL and if they have a chance to make it into the playoffs. To cap off the hour the guys play a game called "Who's Lying".

In the first hour of The Wheelhouse, Jake and BK hit on the Astros double header that is happening today and some positions the Texans have some worry about and what exactly they should do. The guys then give an update on the Astros game against the Yankees and talk about some moves they should make prior to the trade deadline. To cap off the hour the guys go around the league and talk all things NFL. 

In the final hour of the show the guys discuss the day’s major NFL stories in Around the League, give out their ESPN 97.5 ESPYS awards, taste test a new ice cream flavor and analyze a groundbreaking Quidditch story during Quick Hits, and as always close out the show by naming a new Champ of the Day.

In the 3rd hour of the show the guys discuss their takeaways from James Click’s latest comments on the Astros’ major injuries, how it impacts their trade deadline expectations, what they want to see from a couple Texans players that might be flying under the radar, talk with Circa Sports Owner Derek Stevens about the NFL contests Circa has going on, and they have some more fun debating relationship deal breakers. 

In the 2nd hour of the program the guys discuss their expectations for Lance McCullers and what they want to see from him as he continues to inch closer towards a return, they have some fun debating what constitutes a relationship deal breaker, discuss the impact of the latest reports that the Browns are bracing for an 8-game suspension for Deshaun Watson, and get put to the test by Cody Stoots during Which One Wednesday. 

In the opening hour of the show the guys discuss their positive and not quite so positive takeaways from the updates on the Astros injured stars, what realistic expectations should be for the Texans non-Stingley rookies, talk with former Rockets great Tracy McGrady to get his thoughts on the NBA offseason, and discuss the now very uncertain future of Jimmy G as they fire through some of the day’s major NFL stories in Around the League.

In the third hour of The Wheelhouse Jake and Cody recap on what a deal for Washington Nationals Outfielder looks like. Next former Oilers quarterback Warren Moon joins The Wheelhouse and reflects on his time in Houston. To cap off the hour the guys pick their champ of the day.
