ESPN College Football Analyst and former Georgia Bulldog joins the show to talk about the SEC Championship game and other action this weekend

In an abbreviated final hour of the show, the guys begin as they usually do, by going around the NFL and hitting on all the games and stories that they have yet to get to.  After the opening segment, they have some fun on an early edition of Quick Hits before discussing the RED HOT ROCKETS and what to make of their 4 game winning streak.  And as always, they end things by naming a new Champ of The Day.

To begin the 3rd hour of the show, the guys are joined by Paramount Sports Handicapper Lee Sterling in his weekly Thursday spot to get his favorite plays for the weekend of CFB and NFL action ahead.   As the hour rolls on, they debate how worried Astros fans should be about the fact that Justin Verlander’s deal hasn’t been made official yet and they go all around the world of CFB ahead of championship weekend.  To wrap up the hour, they hold back the tears as they look back at what the Texans could have had in the 2nd Round of the 2020 draft.

As always the guys begin the 2nd hour of the show with Stros at 4, taking a deeper look at the MLB lockout and why they aren’t feeling super optimistic about the outcome.  After the opening segment, they flip things over to College Football have some fun with newly announced 42nd bowl game before being joined by ESPN NFL Senior Writer Bill Barnwell to go all around the NFL ahead of the weekend.  To close the hour, the guys roast a Texans QB take from one of the other hosts on the station. 

To kick off a Monday edition of the show, the guys discuss the realities of the MLB lockout before looking at how it might impact both the Astros and their potential pursuit of Carlos Correa.  In the back half of the hour, they are joined by NCAA Senior VP of Basketball Dan Gavitt to talk about the Final Four’s return to Houston in 2023 before closing out the hour by going around the NFL. 

On a Thursday edition of Quick Hits, the guys discuss the possibility of Houston getting a NHL team, Tom Brady crashing a high school basketball meeting, and more!
