In the final hour the guys go around the league and discuss the biggest news surrounding the NFL. The guys speak about Tony La Russa's comments about the Astros and speak about the MVP of the Astros' divisional series. In the third hour of The Wheelhouse the guys preview game one of the ALCS vs. the Boston Red Sox and Lance McCullers' injury. The guys then discuss the injury of Tyrod Taylor and the future of Davis Mills. At the bottom of the show AT&T SportsNets Astros analyst Mike Stanton joins the show and gives his thoughts on game one of the ALCS and the future of Carlos Correa. To end the hour the guys speak about Lincoln Riley and the Sooners quarterback controversy. 

In hour two Jake, Cody and BK go over story lines in the 2021 MLB Playoffs and the Astros path to the World Series. They then continue their discussion on Jon Gruden's resignation and his comments leaked form his emails. Midway through the hour Tom Verducci joins the show to discuss Red Sox/Astros as well as what another championship would mean for the city of Houston. To then finish out the hour they go around the college football league.

To kick off a Wednesday edition of the show, the guys continue the Astros celebration as they advance to their 5th straight ALCS.   After the opening segment, they keep the Astros discussion rolling and highlight the continued postseason excellence of one Carlos Correa, and debate whether or not his performance in the ALDS makes it more or less likely he remains an Astro.  In the back half of the hour, they turn their attention to the Texans and discuss HC David Culley’s announcement that Tyrod Taylor will remain the team’s  starting QB once healthy before closing things out by going around the NFL.
